I had the honor and pleasure of serving as FLBPA’s Vice President this past year. This unforgettable experience has taught me leadership, communication, and friendship. Throughout this time, I acquired discounts from nearby Disney Springs restaurants, kept up communications with my buddy region, and developed FLBPA’s first newsletter. However, there is still more to be done. I will strive to expand my goals of improving communication to members and lowering economic barriers for members. I aim to enhance our newsletter, promote direct communications between chapter members and state officers, and finally, reach out directly to businesses and institutions for sponsorships.
